McGill's new sports stadium is opened and dedicated to the memory of Percival Molson who died in World War I. Percival Molson Stadium is still in use today.

Beaver Lumber Company Limited becomes a Molson company.

Molson becomes principal sponsor of Hockey Night in Canada.

Molson organization buys Club de Hockey Canadien -- the Montreal Canadians.

The Molson Companies Limited purchase Diversey Corporation, a world leader in the specialty chemicals field.

Molson Breweries of Canada Limited achieves $1.063 billion in sales, with a domestic sales volume of 6.4 million hectolitres (about 2 billion bottles).

Toronto stages the first edition of the Molson Indy race.

July 28 marks Molson, North America's oldest continuing brewery, 200th anniversary.
